Tips for writing online
classified ads that sells.
-
First and
foremost photo quality and detail goes a long way toward describing what
you are selling (a picture is worth a thousand words).
When advertising your Harley-Davidson
Motorcycle your motorcycle should take up the entire frame of the
picture. Be sure your background does not detract from the
bike i.e. contrasts with the motorcycle is best. Do not set-up some extravagant background it's a waist
of time. I suggest a photo of each side of your bike, a close-up of
each side of the engine, and one of the speedometer to show the true mileage.
-
Be sure to
have a detailed list of all upgrades made to your bike. This
helps when a person is comparison shopping and matching bikes
against one another. If you have receipts, total them and let the
potential buyer know how much you have in upgrades and add-ons.
-
When
shopping for a used Harley-Davidson Motorcycle potential buyers want to
know how you maintained your motorcycle. Be sure to include storage
details and maintenance details, i.e. was your motorcycle garage
kept, covered, washed and detailed regularly? Was it adult owned and
ridden? What was the maintenance schedule? Do you have all receipts?
These are all good ideas to incorporate into your classified ad.
-
Be sure to
include everything included in the purchase i.e. original parts,
spare seats, helmets, leathers, trailer, remaining original or extended
warranty, alarms, etc. No detail should be left out.
-
Be sure to
check your contact information accuracy and regularly check your answering
machine and email. Usually buyers are communicating and negotiating with
several sellers at once try to make their best deal. If you fail to respond
within a
reasonable time frame you run the risk of losing a potential qualified
prospect. The buyer may eliminated you if you fail to respond quickly.
