05/03/2008 - Easley, SC - The 12th Annual Ride for the Child - Registration 10 AM - 12 PM - 5155 Calhoun Memorial Hwy. - Contact The Parenting Place home of Prevent Child Abuse Pickens County at 864-898-5583. The original date, April 19th was rained out. All vehicles are invited to take part in this annual poker run to benefit Prevent Child Abuse Pickens County. The cost is $25 per vehicle and includes one poker hand. Extra hands are $10. CASH prizes will be awarded! The scenic route is about 100 miles through upstate South Carolina and ends at Upstate Fairgrounds where there will be music, food, and lots of fun! Help keep kids safe!
